“The resort strikes me as a solid choice for couples wanting a blend of relaxation and Polynesian culture, with its lagoonarium snorkeling and proximity to the Museum of Tahiti. While some might find the rooms a touch dated or the poolside music lively, the attentive staff and on-site dining options, including the overwater Le Lotus, appear to elevate the experience. It seems a worthwhile consideration for a Tahiti vacation focused on service and location.”

Overall, I found the hotel to be a suitable choice for a convenient stopover, especially before or after a cruise. The views of Moorea are stunning, and the infinity pool is a real highlight. However, the food prices are on the higher side, and the service could use some improvement in speed. The rooms were basic but did the job for a short stay.
Rooms
The rooms were basic yet clean and served their purpose. Although my initial room had a broken water heater, they eventually fixed it. Rating: 7
Service
The service was accommodating, but the staff was noticeably slow at times. Rating: 6
Location
The hotel has a great location, being right next to the airport and offering beautiful views of Moorea. However, you will need a taxi to explore other spots on the island. Rating: 9
Dining
Dining options were varied yet surprisingly expensive, with the food quality being somewhat disappointing for the price. Rating: 5
Facilities
The infinity pool was gorgeous and a perfect place to relax, with plenty of activities around. Rating: 8

My stay at the Intercontinental Tahiti was a lovely experience, especially as it was the first stop on our honeymoon. The room was spacious and clean, and I really appreciated the quick check-in. The only downside was the hardness of the bed. Although the location is convenient for the airport, there aren't many attractions nearby. Overall, it felt like a great value for the quick overnight stay before heading to Bora Bora.

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental and had a mix of experiences. The location and views were stunning, and the overwater bungalow provided a beautiful private space. However, the dining options were inconsistent and not very accommodating, especially when it came to service. Overall, the amenities were great, but the dining experience could definitely use some improvement.

We spent a night at this hotel during a long layover on our way to New Zealand, and it was a decent choice for a short stay. The pool area was nice for relaxing, and they offered a generous buffet breakfast with a Polynesian show in the morning. However, the room cleanliness was disappointing, especially with the presence of mosquitoes and spiders. Overall, it's a solid option if you need a brief stopover, but I would suggest moving to another location for a longer stay.
Rooms

Our Superior Ocean View Room had great views of the pool and the neighboring island, but it was marred by cleanliness issues and uninvited insects.
Service
6.0
While the welcome was warm and the breakfast service was pleasant, other aspects of service were lacking, particularly in the restaurant with slow service.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, making it great for those needing quick access to travel hubs before heading to the islands.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, though priced a bit high, and the dining options for dinner were good but limited.
Facilities
7.0
The pool area was a lovely spot to unwind, and the ability to shift to a changing room after check-out was appreciated, but more amenities would enhance the experience.
